Daniela Vegas Licensed Instructor & ZIN Member I was born in Argentina and I lived there for 17 years. I moved to the US on 2006 with my dad, Tomas, my step-mom, Jacki and 13 awesome pets (I am a dog lover!). I go to Argentina every year to visit my mom, my grandma, and my friends. I finished high school at Terre Haute North and right now I go to ISU. I am enrolled in Exercise Science and my goal is to become a physical therapist. The first time I tried Zumba was at the end of 2008 and I LOVED IT! On March 2009, I got my Zumba Basic I certification and on June 2009 I participated in the Zumba workshop to become certified on Basic II. During the 2009 Zumba Convention I got certified to teach Zumba Gold and ZumbAtomic! On September 2010 I got my certification on Zumba Toning and in June of 2011 I got my certification in AquaZumba!. As you can see, I am addicted to Zumba!! I enjoy teaching Zumba because every class is a PARTY! That is why I want everybody in Terre Haute to experience this AWESOME fitness program called ZUMBA!!
Katie Cope Licensed Instructor & ZIN Member I was first introduced to ZUMBA in October 2008 after a friend convinced me to go. I don't always like dancing and was very hesitant to go. Typically I have felt like I have two left feet... Needless to say, the moment I heard the music and started participating in class I was hooked. The energy was awesome and before I knew it the class was over. There are many exercise programs I have tried in the past, this is the first one that has captured my attention, and allowed me to get a workout without feeling like one. I became an instructor in April 2009 with Basic 1 training. In August 2009 I took the ZUMBA Toning course and March 2010 I completed Basic 2 training. I completed my ZumbAtomic certification in October 2010.
Since starting ZUMBA I have lost 80 pounds and continue to tone and shape my body. I look forward to sharing ZUMBA with others and seeing their success as well. I love to be able to help others experience success through ZUMBA. Come join my class and melt those pounds away and tone your body!
